Thanks to Ninth St. Screening Room and Staff for serving us!

2011 marks the Eleventh year of SF Cutters, the first Final Cut Pro User Group in the world. Many changes have occurred in our industry, and Final Cut Pro; documentation, training, and expert knowledge are now widespread. This year we look at our roots as editors, delivering a message, and storytelling. We will continue to speak about Final Cut Pro and other NLEs on the Mac platform and related technology that either makes our work easier, and faster to deliver, or that is emerging, to keep our skills sharp and our options open.

PLEASE NOTE - Ninth St is easily accessible by BART/MUNI - Civic Center station, MUNI buses, and has multiple parking lots, and often free parking on street after 7 pm. REALLY READ the signs when parking on the street to avoid tickets and /or tow. If you prefer not to walk from Civic Center there are many cabs available on street.

SF Cutters: www.sfcutters.org

SF Cutters is the World's first Apple Final Cut Pro User Group forming in March of 2000.

That's right, the concept of a DV User Group, complete with networking, screenings and tech info centered around Apple Final Cut Pro was born right here in San Francisco. Currently there are over 100 chapters of Final Cut Pro and ProApps User Groups based upon our model. We are proud to be the founders of this exciting movement, dubbed in 1999 as "The DV Revolution". Viva!

SF Cutters meets regularly in San Francisco and the Bay Area Jan thru Nov, the schedule may vary from year to year.
